Steel base and QD stud.
Black painted finish.
60mm long overall.
Thread length ~ 15mm.
Weighs approx 20 grams.
Fits hollow rifle forends and AR-15 / M16 / M4 polymer handguards.
The diameter of the round nut (welded) on to the fixing plate is 9mm.
Fitting this adapter will require dismantling the rifle.
The QD stud hole diameter is approx 3.75mm for bipods and sling swivel posts.
For Harris and compatible style bipods.
Being a QD stud, it alternatively allows for the fitting of a rifle QD sling swivel.
The thread type is very close to 10/32 (5mm) but not quite either.
Update: On last testing the adapter / nut accepted other 10/32 machine threaded studs.
