QD SLING SWIVELS BASE SOCKET PORT KIT

QD swivel port socket base fitting kit.
Complete with four screws with nut, to offer a choice of length for best fit.
Thread lengths 7mm, 13mm, 17mm, and 21.5mm.
Thread type ~ M4.
Blued steel socket with a 10mm internal diameter.
Socket overall length ~ 15.5mm.
Socket external diameter ~ 12mm.
Kit weighs ~ 14 grams.
If to be flush mounted you would need a suitable hole of approx ½" to ⅝ deep by ½" wide.
The internal wall of the socket is grooved to accept the spring-loaded ball bearings found in push button QD swivels.
Then coat the hole with epoxy resin and push in the socket port, the grooves help anchor in the resin, plus a hole to allow it to be screwed in for the ultimate hold.
Then offers a flush finish when your sling and swivels are removed.
With the provided nut, they are also suitable for surface mounting.
