- Upgrade Buffer Pin (TWIN PACK):
Greatly reduces the possibility damage caused by the bolt battering the recoil pin.
Usually one of the first upgrades to the Ruger 10/22.
Twin pack of steel recoil shock buffers with Viton rubber covers.
To replace the 1/4" steel bolt stop pin, at the back of the receiver.
To avoid metal on metal contact from the bolt, for noise reduction.
Quick and easy installation, following safe gun handling procedures.
You will need a screwdriver, suitable pin punches and non-marring hammer.
Remove the stock and original steel 1/4" bolt stop pin.
Slide in the new buffer pin and reassemble.
The buffer is unaffected by oils or solvents.
Approx 31mm long.
