For fitting to the SA80 sight rail (approx 19mm dovetail).
To fit your 20mm wide Weaver / Picatinny mounted sights to
SA80 / L85 / L86 rifles, including the Specter DR scope.
The shorter length rail maybe less universal fitting due to it's slide on design, so far we have been told it fits the Army Armament R85 (L85 / L85A1* / SA80), ICS L85, L86 & L86 LSW and WE L85a2 (tight fit).
With the WE L85A2 GBBR it fits but sits at a slight angle, leaves a gap at rear of rail and leaves front of original rail uncovered.
It doesn't fit the G&G SA80 and the Army Armament L85A2.
*Some reports back say it's too tight a fit for the Army Armament L85A1.
ICS L86 LSW ~ "Fit perfectly on my rifle much cheaper option than a susat well worth the buy."
"Army R85A1 ~ Fitted ~ but required sanding down the rail on the gun".
The long length rail should fit G&G, Army, Star, Ares, WE L85 / L85A2 and ICS AEGs.
G&G ~ "The long rail fit the G&G SA80 perfectly, although it was much longer than the dovetail rail it was mounting to. This is a definite positive for me, however.
The adapter is also quite a bit taller than the top rail of the Daniel Defense RIS on the front of the gun
That means you can't use them together as one continuous rail, but then again, this isn't the A3 model so that's also not a problem."
ICS L86 ~ "Fit perfectly. Slightly longer than the original rail underneath but this isn't a bad thing in my opinion."
Army Armament L85A1 ~ "Had to get it on with a hammer, bent the picatinny and dovetail rail, just get the large rail."
"G&G L85A2 ETU (2020)
Great fitting and the extra length of rail helps get the perfect eye relief (Specter DR) My only niggle is the small clamp screws on the side of the rail, god knows what size they are, had to get an allen key that kinda fitted and pray.
Once secured on the rail it is rock solid and you wont loose your precious shiny attached to it.
Will now allow me to fit any scope/site I want as opposed to just relying on fitting a Susat that fits the standard rail but is very expensive!
Really pleased with the purchase.
