Mauser 98K aluminium base mount adapter with steel fittings.
Only designed for use with long eye relief scopes and sights.
13 cross slot rail.
Overall length ~ 135mm / 5.3 inches.
Fixing hole distances 70mm / 2.7 inches center to center.
Weighs approx ~ 68 grams.
Replaces the rear sight leaf on your 98K rifle.
This mounts sits forward of the bolt handle so there is no need to bend or modify your bolt handle.
You would need to use with a long eye relief scope or red dot / reflex sight with no magnification, to use this forward mounted scout rifle type setup.
Drive out the rear sight pin, mount the rail, and place the provided screw into the pin hole, loosen or tighten front and back top screw for elevation adjustment.
Please Note: slight modification work will likely be required.
