Full size Government / Commander grips.

Large ridged textured grip finish.

The fixing holes are 6.5mm diameter and are 78mm from centre to centre.

Also used on M1911 inspired folding knives and fixed blade knives.

These grips usually have flat ends as opposed to the more common bevelled ends.

So they provide a flush finish up against custom magwells such as the Ed Brown magwell.

Standard cut grips have bevelled ends (used on most guns).
Magwell cut grips have flat ends to butt-up against the standard thickness magwells for a flush finish.
There are others but those are the main two end cut types.

The end of grip cut outs are for the main spring housing pin.

The small notch on the front edge of the right side grip is for the magazine catch fitting.
