Dual function design.
For safe test-firing without weakening or possibly damaging the the guns firing pin, and then the wool mops help lubricated the chamber whilst preventing oil running down the barrels to the stock.
They are also available for 20 gauge in brass, and .410 bore, 12, 16, 20, 28 gauge in aluminium by prior-request, as we don't currently hold them in stock.
