Please note: these plastic head / rim versions are probably best suited to shotguns with extractors only, for shotguns without ejectors you maybe best with metal head / rimmed EVO Shotgun Snap Caps.

For safe dry firing and training.

Manufactured in Italy, offering the best possible value for money.

Particular attention has been paid to the rim to make it one of the strongest on the market, for safe test-firing without weakening or possibly damaging the guns firing pin.

The snap caps are safe and efficient use, reusable dozens of times, shock and oil resistant.

Each gauge contains a calibrated spring, which perfectly copy the resistance exerted by a true trigger during firing.

The external dimensions are perfectly identical to the true cartridges.

The snap cap is unjustly neglected in the large range of shooting accessories.

Yet its function is crucial in protecting the firing pin when shooting in blank firing, for training, safe firearm handling and shooting without live cartridges, security during the cleaning of the guns, and trigger tension testing, to adjust trigger tension.

Shooting without cartridges could create problem with the firing pin, in fact this is designed to stop its run on the primer of the cartridge, whether central or ring, and if the cartridge is not in chamber, its motion is stopped in an end of the stroke that is not as expected by the designer.

In the long run this can cause deformation and breakage.

These snap caps are constructed by assembling three fundamental components: the brass base, stainless steel spring and plastic cap.

Precision made with the correct load spring to absorbs the shock of the striker.

The plastic bodies are sized so as to have the correct "head space".

These snapcaps have some advantages, such as, transparency (they can not be confused with a real cartridges), robustness (confirmed by stress testing), will not leave metal debris inside the shotgun and are low cost, compared to metal snap caps.
