The rubber blades are soft enough to prevent the likelihood of most bodily injury.
They do however have a level of firmness that might cause injury to the face or the eyes,
so it is recommended that appropriate eye protection or mask is
utilized at all times when using a rubber knife.

Both types include a plastic scabbard.
The M9 has velcro fastener and large quick-release buckle to remove the bayonet and scabbard from your webbing.
The M10 has two metal press stud retainer straps and a MOLLE webbing strap.
